Pace Route 554: Service Change Effective August 18, 2014
Beginning Monday, August 18, 2014, the Route 554 5:30 a.m. eastbound trip will depart Pace Elgin Transportation Center at 5:25 a.m. and arrive at Pace Northwest Transportation Center at 6:15 a.m. in order to improve connections with Route 600. All other service will remain unchanged.
Route 554, which travels along portions of Golf and Barrington Road in Hoffman Estates, offers service in both directions throughout the day during the week and on Saturday. Trips within 3/4 mile of the route are also eligible for ADA Paratransit service. Specifics on the schedule and route can be found here. The Village of Hoffman Estates financially supports the operation of this route along with Schaumburg, Streamwood, and Hanover Park.
Pace Route 610: Expanded Service with Park & Ride Lot
Route 610 operates between the Rosemont CTA Station at River Road and the Prairie Stone Business Park on weekdays. Pace is offering expanded service on this route to provide for trips in each direction during the morning and evening rush hours, plus express trips are offered during peak times. A Park & Ride lot has been established at the Sears Centre Arena along Pratum Avenue. Commuters can park free in the designated part of the Sears Centre Arena Lot C to board Route 610 which provides express service to the CTA Blue Line Station in Rosemont. These service expansions are part of Pace's coordination work with the Illinois Tollway, RTA, and Village to offer travel options during the upcoming widening and reconstruction work on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90). Employer Commuter Grant
Employers who encourage ridesharing or public transportation for employees may want to investigate Pace's grant program. The Employer Commuter Grant reimburses employers for eligible expenses up to $20,000 per year. Intended to offer short term assistance for program start up, the commuter grant could be an attractive option for employers to pursue. Information on the Employer Commuter Grant can be found here.
Suburban Bus and ADA Paratransit Service

Pace Bus Routes
Route 554: Route 554 travels on portions of Barrington and Golf Roads within Hoffman Estates, running between the Milwaukee District West Metra Stations in Elgin and Hanover Park, and the Pace Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg. The Village along with Streamwood, Schaumburg, Hanover Park, and Pace share the annual cost of this route. Service is on weekdays during rush hours and some midday periods. See information on Route 208 for transfers from Route 554 to reach destinations further to the east along Golf Road.
Route 610: Provides weekday express service on I-90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) between the Rosemont CTA Blue Line Station and Sears Headquarters at Prairie Stone. Internal stops within the Prairie Stone Business Park are also served by this route. A Park and Ride lot is located in the parking area of the Sears Centre Arena.
Route 602: Provides rush hour feeder service from Golf / Higgins intersection, Autumn Chase and Salem Hill & Interlude Apartment complexes to the Schaumburg Metra Station. In Hoffman Estates, the route passes through the intersection of Bode Road and Salem Drive.
Route 696: Provides weekday service from Mt. Prospect to Palatine including a connection to Harper College along Roselle Road. The Metra Station in Arlington Heights and the Northwest Transportation Center along with other work and shopping centers are located along the route.
Northwest Transportation Center: Other Pace routes are available from the Northwest Transportation Center, located near Woodfield Mall. These provide a network of connections to destinations within the Northwest suburbs.
ADA Paratransit Services
Pace ADA Paratransit Service is a curb-to-curb dial-a-ride service for individuals with disabilities who cannot use the fixed route system. ADA is provided within three quarters of a mile on each side of fixed service bus routes.

Pace RideShare is a free, easy and convenient service that connects commuters throughout the Chicagoland area who are interested in sharing their drive to work.
