SIGN PERMITS: Sign Permit Applications are not available online. To obtain a sign permit application, you can email here, call 847-781-2660, or visit the Village Hall at 1900 Hassell Road. The Village Sign Code is Section 9-3-8 of the Zoning Code and may be accessed here.

Planning Division Primary Responsibilities

Maintain the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a tool that Planning uses to determine the allowed use for all properties within the Village, and may be viewed here.

Coordinate long-range and specific area improvement plans. To learn more about current approved projects that are under construction or awaiting construction, please visit our Current Projects page.

Administer the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). Planning also provides outside resource contacts for housing assistance services and other programs. To learn more about CDBG and other programs please visit our Housing and Support Services page.
